Tempeh & Greens Stir-fry

A simple stir-fry featuring a heap of green veggies and our wonderfully uniquely delicious and totally soy-free Life Foods Aloha tempeh!

Tempeh & Greens Stir-fry
Life Foods' Aloha Tempeh is so flavorful and delicious it needs very little to taste awesome. This is the ultimate quick lunch or dinner, featuring just two main ingredients. Choose leafy greens like spinach, kale and chard to make it quicker, but broccoli tastes pretty amazing too!

  • 1 each Life Aloha Tempeh
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 cups greens, sliced finely broccoli, kale, spinach or chard
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp coconut aminos, soy sauce or Bragg's
  • Life Foods Superfood Furikake

  • 1 each Life Aloha Tempeh
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 cups greens, sliced finely broccoli, kale, spinach or chard
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp coconut aminos, soy sauce or Bragg's
  • Life Foods Superfood Furikake
Instructions
  1. Cube tempeh evenly and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick or cast iron skillet until warm. Add tempeh and cook five minutes. Toss to brown opposite sides of each tempeh cube, repeating until all sides are browned.
  3. If using broccoli, cook for five minutes more, until cooked thoroughly. If using greens, toss in greens and cook to wilt, about one minute.
  4. Remove from pan and drizzle with lemon, Coconut Aminos and Superfood Furikake. Enjoy as is, or add to wraps or sandwiches. This recipe can also be cooled and tossed into salads!
