Sea Buckthorn

Description

Sea Buckthorn, also known as "wonder fruit" or "Holy fruit of the Himalayas" is a deciduous shrub native to Europe and Asia. Typically found in dry, sandy areas and quite tolerant of salt content, these hardy plants produce bright orange berries which have many health benefits. When the berries are pressed, the resulting Sea Buckthorn juice separates into 3 layers: on top is a thick orange cream, in the middle a layer of saturated and poly-unsaturated fats, and the bottom layer is sediment and juice.
