Description

Yacon is a crisp, sweet-tasting, tuberous root originating in the Northern and central Andes, from Ecuador to Argentina. The fruit has a high concentration of FOS (fructooligosaccharides), widely regarded for prebiotic effects, meaning they are used by "friendly" bacteria that favor colon health and digestion.
